It has been a busy year for S-JAM, one of boxing's growing management companies. Leading the charge for S-JAM is Joe Joyce, fresh of a career defining victory against Joseph Parker; secure his position as the NUMBER ONE contender with the WBO!
However, one fighter does not define S-JAM's portfolio of talented fighters! We interviewed Chief Operating Officer Shane Watson to discuss what is next for their fighters...
Lerrone Richards
IBO Super-Middleweight World Champion Lerrone Richards has had his career stalled, even after a securing the IBO strap against Carlos Gongora last December. His team were offered to fight Ali Akhmedov on the undercard of Canelo vs Gennadiy Golovkin 3, but declined due to Gongora beating Akhmedov previously.
Shane Watson has revealed that S-JAM are talking to three major promotional companies to sign Lerrone and 'guarantee a deal where he is comfortable and has a good plan in place'. This deal should be announced within the next month. Shane named Rocky Fielding as an ideal opponent for Lerrone next.
Florian Marku
The 'Albanian King' Florian Marku will remain on the sidelines until early 2023 due to a hand injury. The main aim for Florian, Shane revealed, is to keep increasing the level of opponents and move Florian higher up the world rankings. Whilst nothing is confirmed, and no discussions have been had, Tyrone McKenna was mentioned as an ideal next opponent.
Solomon Dacres, Junaid Bostan, and Tommy Fletcher
Fresh off a comfortable points win against Estaban Bracamonte, Solomon Dacres and S-JAM are looking for a title fight next. Former World Title challenger Marko Huck was named as an ideal opponent for Dacres next.
Junaid Bostan is already becoming a fan favorite with the British boxing community, moving to 2-0 on the undercard of Maxi Hughes vs Kid Galahad. Junaid is showing his class in the ring and will return on the undercard of Josh Warrington vs Luis Alberto Lopez. His opponent will be at English Title level, with S-JAM wanting a title fight after that.
Tommy Fletcher, the hard-hitting 6'4 Crusierweight will return to the ring in December. With promoter Frank Warren not releasing any shows for December just yet, an exact date is to be revealed.
