Diego Pacheco STOPS Jack Cullen in 4 rounds

Highly touted Mexican prospect Deigo Pacheco made light work of Britain's Jack Cullen in just four rounds in his first fight on UK soil. Pacheco moved to 18-0 (15 KOs) on Saturday night with an impressive performance in Liverpool, proving why he is regarded as one of the best

prospects in world boxing.

Pacheco started the fight strong, looking the better fighter in the early stages, a big right hand in the second round set the tone for the remainder of the fight. However, Cullen showed his

toughness by seeing out the onslaught but that only delayed the inevitable finish.

In the opening stages of the fourth, Pacheco caught Cullen with a straight right followed by a

brutal left to the body sending Cullen down to the canvas for the first time. In visible pain, Cullen managed to climb to his feet but only lasted a matter of seconds as Pacheco instinctively

pounced on Cullen and forced the referee to call a halt to the contest.

"I feel ready for anyone in the division, anyone in boxing. I feel like I can compete with anyone"

said Pacheco after the fourth-round stoppage.

Eddie Hearn, promotor of Pacheco believes he has a massive future at the elite level of the

sport. "He's beautifully poised to do great things in boxing" Hearn said. "I'm so excited for the future. Remember this moment, because I think you will see this man ruling the 168lb division."

On the undercard, Robbie Davies Jr suffered a nasty ankle injury in the third round of his bout

with Darragh Foley. Davies Jr had already been sent to the canvas in the second round by

Foley. In the third Davies Jr awkwardly rolled on his ankle forcing his corner to throw the towel

in.

Tokyo Olympian Peter Mcgrail scored a shutout victory over Argentine Nicolas Botelli, whilst

Rhiannon Dixon recorded a stoppage win against Vicky Wilkinson to capture the

Commonwealth title.

Heavyweight fan favourite Johnny Fisher impressed in front of his army of supporters with a

fourth-round stoppage win against tough Italian Alfonso Damiani.

Campbell Hatton continued his professional boxing journey as he outboxed Michel Gonxhe over 6 rounds to extended his unbeaten record to 10-0.
